Two young Israeli social activists visit the great master Yair Zaban, a man who devoted 70 years of his life to the struggle of improving the social conditions and the political situation in Israel to make the world a better and just place. Poetry Zaban tells the journey how the activists learn about the struggles Yair is engaged in and the insights he gained as a leader. They challenge him with questions and learn how even a small minority can change reality.

Israeli Poetry Slam segments dealing with dilemmas Yair Zaban was engaged in are integrated into the film.
