DREAMBUILDERS (Feature Film)

Synopsis: Everything was just great in a tween’s life in the country. Cooking with dad, playing chess – the quiet country life, just the two of them. Then Minna’s life is turned upside down when her dad’s new fiancée Helena and her daughter Jenny move in. Her soon to be stepsister Jenny turns out to be shallow and mean which frustrates Minna. She wants her gone and life to return to normal. One night, Minna discovers a parallel world in her sleep where the Dreambuilders create our dreams on theater stages. Minna realizes that someone else is telling her story, making her dreams for her. She ventures out of her dream and after that – her life totally changes. With a reluctant new Dreambuilder friend and guide to help her, Minna seeks to re-do Jenny’s dreams. But this mean girl prank goes wrong. Interfering with people’s dreams has dire consequences and Minna goes too far one night. Minna must enter the Dream World one final time to face the dreams she has created, own up to her decision, and restore the waking world. Can Minna “wake up” to her sense of responsibility?
