In the first short taking place in a converted hotel in Athens, Zhenos has been living with her family in a state of perpetual uncertainty. Using layered imagery, the film documents the complex reality of an Afghan girl who is navigating her coming-of-age and is continually shadowed by dark memories. In another short, we meet Gabriel who wants to join a group known for their kindness and charity towards the village refugees.
