All Erik wants is to leave his youth home and be with his parents for Christmas. But, when he wins a raffle to spend the holidays with the Nicholas family, his dreams start to fall apart, especially when he meets their seven-year-old daughter Lučka, who would rather have a dog and a sister for Christmas. Despite both their reservations, Erik and Lučka spend their Christmas Eve together. However, when they hear a thump in the middle of the night, they arise to see, all wrapped in red and white, Santa under the tree! With hope that Santa will grant their wishes, they follow him to embark on a crazy Christmas adventure.
