Dear Thirteen

“Dear Thirteen” provides nine thirteen-year-olds a forum to speak about their experiences growing up in the modern world. It quietly observes through the lens, and reflects on the insights, offered through these subject, of politics, systemic abuse, xenophobia, and intolerance. A nuanced portrait of early teenage life meant to show off everyone’s unique differences and the beauty in that existence, in spite of those that challenge that notion directly and indirectly.
