Star Wars Kid: The Rise of the Digital Shadows

In 2002, the "Star Wars Kid" video became the first ever internet meme. The boy in the viral video, then 15-year-old Ghyslain Raza, never consented to having his image uploaded. Overnight, an ordinary teenager turned into the laughingstock of the media, and the relentless harassment forced him to completely retreat from the public eye. 20 years later, Ghyslain breaks his silence for the first time, retracing the period that forever changed his life. He reconciles with his past, rediscovers his identity after the incident, and invites an important dialogue among the youth about compassion, ethics, and human connection in the age of social media.
