In the misty mountains of North Vietnam, a teenage Hmong girl walks the thin line between childhood and adulthood. Over a period of three years, girls in her minority are forced to lose their innocence, discover the traps of seduction and fight for their independence.

Harrowingly immersive, CHILDREN OF THE MIST takes us into a world that feels far away from Western reality but also shares some eerie similarities. As the documentary unfolds, the filmmakers encounter a conundrum of Journalism: should you, the journalist, engage in and become part of the story?
