In 1941, a Lithuanian activist, Andrius Gluosnis, kills a Jew called Isaac, in the Lietūkis garage massacre. Years after the incident, Gluosnis is haunted by guilt. Isaac is a masterfully crafted film noir, exploring both the paranoia of living under surveillance and the labyrinth of post-war guilt, and personal and collective guilt.
