In the heart of Warsaw, on Wilcza Street, the worlds of Poles and immigrants meet, bringing together stories of people who have been here for generations with those who are still searching for their place. In this microcosm of everyday life, Arjun Talwar, a film director from India, lives and works. Having lived in Poland for over a decade, he now observes his street with curiosity and sensitivity, using his camera to discover its residents, from the local postman and Ina to Mrs Ania from the pharmacy, who has been connected with Wilcza Street for decades, and Feras, a Syrian refugee with whom he has become friends. The camera takes us from rooftops and windows to courtyards and the interiors of flats, where conversations, friendships and doubts are born. Wilcza Street becomes a film about encounters and longing: for home, for belonging, and for something that transcends national borders. It is the director's personal journey, but it is also a story about contemporary Poland and Europe, both of which, like the director, are trying to answer the question: where is our home really?
