Filmmakers and researchers discuss the interrupted legacies of artists and cultural practitioners whose work and lives were severely affected by the sociopolitical tumult that marked Cambodia and Morocco in the 1970s. Exploring the makings of Golden Slumbers and About Some Meaningless Events, this talk considers the deeply personal aspects underpinning the nature of cinema histories.
