Director's Statement:

“Somewhere Something’s Burning” marks my debut as a director, writer, and producer. Written and filmed in the aftermath of the devastating hurricane Laura, and in the midst of the pandemic, the film expresses the feelings of these events as well as the grief of losing of my father. I made this film not only for myself but for anyone struggling with the death of a loved one. I wanted to express my pain in a way that was healthy and communicates to others that you’re not alone in your pain.
