About the speaker
Sana Mustafa is a Syrian refugee and family member to the filmmaker of "For Sama." Mustafa is the Associate Director of Partnership and Engagement at Asylum Access, an international organization that works on challenging legal barriers that keep refugees from living safely, moving freely, working, and attending school.
The event was moderated by Robyn Rowley, a researcher in feminist media and cultural studies at CMU, with the participation of Seema Kamath and Mashia Mazumder from the CMU Femme organization.
