Harper stars in ABC's #1 Drama,The Good Doctor and is also known for his roles in CSI: NY— for which he won three NAACP Image Awards for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Covert Affairs, Limitless, and Homeland.
Regina King's directorial debut imagines a night in February 1964 when real-life friends Cassius Clay (Eli Goree), Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge), Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jr.), and Malcolm X (Kingsley Ben-Adir) gather to celebrate Clay’s win -- he just defeated Sonny Liston and earned the title of the new heavyweight champion of the world.
The four men gather at a Miami motel and the conversation quickly gets serious as they discuss whether Black entertainers should speak out against racism, and how Black celebrities can really serve the Black community.
