As a filmmaker, I am driven by the relentless pursuit of storytelling that resonates with the human spirit. My journey through the world of audiovisual arts has been one of constant exploration and discovery. Director Biography - Rafael Reis

Rafael Reis stands as a beacon of creativity and versatility in the realm of audiovisual production, direction, editing, and cinematography. His profound academic background, coupled with a wealth of global experiences, has sculpted him into an esteemed filmmaker and a masterful storyteller.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Scriptwriting for Productions (including soap operas, cinema, and theater) from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in São Paulo, and a degree in Cinema from the Universidad Europea de Madrid, Spain, Rafael’s expertise is further enhanced by a postgraduate degree in Marketing, with a focus on Social Media Communication from FMU, São Paulo, obtained in 2019. His portfolio boasts numerous projects both in Brazil and internationally.

As the founder of R2 Films since 2001, Rafael has produced the web series “O Lado Obscuro,” which was an Official Selection at RioWebFest 2023, and the award-winning short film “SIMBIOSE.” He is also on the brink of releasing several other projects, including two short films and a feature-length movie set to premiere later this year. His creative prowess extends to directing music videos, collaborating with artists across Brazil, the USA, and Canada.

With an impressive eight-year tenure as an editor at Fox Sports channels, Rafael has covered global sporting events, including two FIFA World Cups and an Olympic Games. His editing talent has crossed borders, serving clients in five different countries and collaborating with Amazon Prime Video from 2022 to the present.
