Director Statement

Working on "Home" was an experience of emotions I have never felt before. The feeling of having something you and your friends worked so hard on go somewhere is incredible. The first public screening of Home was at an alumni dinner for Oakland Mills. Once it finished, my friends and I who worked on the project left the auditorium to talk to people before we leave. That's when both alumni, and former teachers started congratulating us, and telling us about the feelings they were having watching the doc. That feeling of someone, anyone, emotionally connected with something you helped make is special, and I'm beyond happy people were able to connect with it.
