Fireworks is a pre apocalyptic film where a young mother discovers there is an imminent nuclear attack on the US. In efforts to make her and her daughter's last day together one of peace and joy, the mother decides to ignore their impending doom and treat the day as if it were any other day.

Director Statement

Fireworks is a screenplay I wrote when listening to "As the World Caves In" by Matt Maltese. I wanted to explore how using ignorance, one can escape feelings of impending doom.
