A lonely Cobbler Arthur secretly builds the perfect woman in the back of his store. The life size doll he builds is named Norah. The perfect robotic doll is supposed to reflect his idea of the perfect woman as he has a terrible relationship with his alcoholic mother due to his father passing away who she thought is the perfect man and takes it out on Arthur. The doll caters to all his needs and does not speak. One day Arthur receives the perfect heels to finally complete his doll from a customer named Rachel who gives him perfect sparkling heels. Rachel soon discovers the robotic doll as Arthur keeps deceiving her the reason why she does not have her heels back yet. This causes massive conflict in Arthur as he starts falling for Rachel and not the doll anymore trying to fulfill his heart.

Director Statement

The Cobbler's Wife was Executive produced by myself. In 2021 Dec, I was sick of the type casting roles given to me from all the big networks auditioning for films and Tv shows. Reading the scripts, I knew the writers had no plans for black characters. During this time I started researching the disparities of Black Filmmakers. Plenty of studies by UCLA, Forbes, TIME, and more about how Hollywood loses 10B dollars a year not funding black lead projects. I decided to embark on my journey as a writer/dir/producer. In 2023 I had came back from AFM with a 300K project with stars attached. Investors dropped out because of the strike. I told myself I am not leaving 2023 without a film. I took all my money, had an index card of a logline for "The Cobbler's Wife" on my desk. Started getting busy in March 2023. I knew what we can do with this film and show the world my story telling.
