A fisherman is haunted by a dead fish.

My name is Adam Seccafico, and I am the director of the short film ‘Don’t Eat Dead Fish’. Dead Fish features the incredibly talented Chris Ross as an exasperated fisherman who is haunted by a dead fish.

Of the three shorts I have made, Dead Fish is the most experimental film I’ve made to date. While the film has the sense of humor of a Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd cartoon, the supernatural nature of the fish (along with the growing mania of the fisherman) comes to a violent conclusion as the film culminates in a moment that would make David Cronenberg blush.

While the shoot was challenging at times, I had a sensational crew behind me to make the film both a fun and rewarding time on set. I was truly lucky to have my cinematographer and co-producer, Bob Klein, back on set for Dead Fish. Bob’s cinematography creates an atmosphere and a much needed grounding that allows the film to effortlessly shift tones while maintaining a consistency throughout the film.
