Joy is trying to begin a new chapter in her life after breaking from her comfort zone and moving to a new city for University. The effort is stifled by her commitment as a beauty influencer and the self-esteem she feeds off her fans. The new chapter finally looks set to begin when she encounters a friendly peer named Cleo, who quickly makes a connection with Joy. When the far more outgoing Cleo invites herself to Joy’s home, Joy finds herself more uncomfortable/unsure with the increasingly neurotic Cleo.

Directors' Biographies - Cooper Lindsay and Caleb Rodda

Cooper Lindsay

After graduating from the University of Sydney with a degree in marketing, Cooper decided to follow his passion and studied filmmaking – a more natural fit for his knack for visual storytelling. He’s spent the last few years producing, writing, directing, and editing both as a freelancer and as part of a large crew. He is currently the Creative Director for Portrait Films Production Company.

Caleb Rodda

Caleb is a director/producer based in Sydney. He has worked as a freelance film-maker for two years producing national TVCs, music videos, online promotional material, and narrative short films. His work has featured in international film festivals and online publications.

More than anything though, Caleb loves to tell a good story and see it come to life.
