123 Andrés are Andrés and Christina, the Latin GRAMMY winning music duo whose catchy songs and lively concerts get young children singing and moving, in Spanish and English. 123 Andrés has been hailed by Billboard magazine as “a rock star for little language learners” and they have performed at venues including Lollapalooza (Chicago), Kennedy Center (Washington DC), Symphony Space (NYC), and the Coliseo in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They have 7 acclaimed albums under their belts, and two books published by Scholastic - Hola, Amigo and Diez Pajaritos - with the third due out in fall.

"Around the Americas" Series

Four 15-minute episodes. Fast-paced and silly on the surface, these episodes are a great way to get kids interested in rhythms and instruments from around Latin America. In each episode we travel together to meet a musician in a different country of Latin America - Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala and Puerto Rico. The musician teaches us about the style of music they play, and the episode gets interactive with 3 special challenges in each episode that students can do by themselves or with family members, and with household objects. We practice a rhythm, learn a dance step, or create an instrument. They're a great way to connect with different styles of music from Latin America!
