Martín Perino is a young Argentinian piano virtuoso and composer. He is also a patient of El Borda, the largest and most controversial psychiatric hospital in Latin America. A child prodigy and the most promising talent of his generation, Martin is now trying to find a way to overcome his illness, drawing strength from his own fragility, to perform his latest composition. 'Solo' is the first feature documentary by French director Artemio Benki. Garnering festival awards since its premiere last year, it was most recently awarded the New Talent Award at DocsBarcelona.
