Bertie and husband Fred move to a family home in France to energize their jazz careers, leaving behind their poly triad third, Lane. When Bertie’s mother dies, she loses her musical mojo and two years after their relationship ended, Lane appears at their doorstep. What ensues provides an insight into their passions, their present relationship tensions, and what the future may hold for each of them. 


The setting is luxurious, bringing audiences into the calm, coolness, and completely delicious French countryside. A visually stunning background is perfect for this sexy, bombastic, and lovingly complicated story. Ma Belle, My Beauty premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival where it won the Audience Award in the NEXT section. The film has gone on to SFFilm and The Cleveland International Film Festival.
