Differences highlight how we ask people to process and react emotionally, mentally, and socially to specific events/situations that occur in our lives. Derrick Peters, along with his friends Malcolm, DeShawn, and Ralph, struggle to tackle various issues within themselves, those around them, and who they choose to be with. After his struggles with his now ex-girlfriend Tiffany Brown, Derrick has decided to try dating his past girlfriend Courtney again. He starts to see that maybe the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, especially if you have been neglecting it. While this is taking place, DeShawn, Malcolm, and Ralph are navigating their way in the dating world with hiccups happening along the way. It makes for their dating partners to expose their flaws for them to see the errors of their ways. Differences finds a way for these characters to not only look in the mirror but to see the difference in their
