Synopsis:
Becoming a mother at a very early age has shaped Asia's relationship with her teenage daughter Vika. When health issues lead Vika to be confined to a wheelchair and her need for romantic experiences and sexual exploration becomes more urgent, Asia realizes she must get out of the way so that her daughter can live her life.

DJFF Film Review:
“The story is about the relationship between a young mother and her teenage daughter. In the beginning, it shows the distance between the 2 characters which is not unusual with teenagers. Vika, the daughter, wants to explore her sexuality and her freedom but her illness gets in the way. As the movie goes on we learn about the illness of the teenage daughter and the difficulty that each of them has in dealing with this. I think it could potentially be a very sappy sad story but the way the characters deal with it, it is not. The relationship becomes closer and they develop a deep connection with each other. The ending is sad but isn't handled at all in a maudlin way. The acting is excellent. It is a sobering look at life but I think it is a wonderful story of the bond of love and trust and finally understanding.”
