In February 2017, Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, was poisoned as he waited to board a plane in Malaysia. Two women, who assumed they were participating in a prank for television, sprayed him with a deadly nerve agent and he died within minutes. This film investigates the assassination plot, likely ordered by his half-brother, and follows the women's trials, convictions, and eventual release from prison.
