A portrait of the Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg from her 2018 “Fridays for Future” local school boycott to becoming a spokesperson for the global fight against climate change. In addition to her rise to fame, the focus is on Greta herself, her family life, how Asperger’s Syndrome contributes to her activism, and coping with becoming a global celebrity. The film examines the interplay of Greta's personal life with the very public demands of being an inspiration to millions of people around the world.
