Truth or Consequences is a speculative hybrid documentary about time, and how we weave the past into the present and our imaginary future. Set in the small desert town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, the film takes place in the shadow of the world's first commercial Spaceport. Weaving documentary footage into a fictionalized context, the film is set in a near future when space tourism has begun, following five residents in the town. Combining archival footage, experimental virtual reality scenes and an improvised score by jazz guitarist Bill Frisell, Truth or Consequences is a lyrical meditation on progress, history, and how we navigate a sense of loss as the world rapidly changes around us.

Truth or Consequences recently had its World Premiere at IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam) in January 2020.
