Director Biography - Hunter Lapain, Sydney Van Leewen

Sydney Van Leeuwen is a film student at the Motion Picture Institute in Troy, Michigan. An aspiring AD and someday director, she wrote STOP in the hopes that someone would relate to the struggles of the main character (and the director) and take solace in the film's message: You are not alone. Van Leeuwen graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2018 with a degree in history, and hopes to someday work on a big budget historical drama like Titanic, which was the first movie to inspire her to someday enter the industry.
