Belgian choreographer and dancer Cassiel Gaube presents a masterclass on his work Farmer Train Swirl - Étude, which draws on the House dance style.
Gaube graduated from the Performing Arts Research and Training Studios (P.A.R.T.S.) in Brussels in 2016, and over the past few years has immersed himself in House dance, a style born in the clubs of Chicago and New York in the early eighties.
Now he brings his research and experience to Dublin Dance Festival to present a master class that unravels the diverse influences explored in Farmer Trailer Swirl - Étude. Taking the core principles of learning, transforming and transmitting, this is a practice space that invites any-curious-body to experience some of the materials that have influenced Gaube and explore the movement and steps that are at the heart of his choreographic style.
