Made extra special by actors Maximilian Schell, Isabella Rosselini, Topol and Jeroen Krabbé, this Berlin Film Festival winner probes the memories that haunt people or worse, are ignored by them. Set in 1972 Antwerp, a rebellious, secular Jewish college student (Laura Fraser of Breaking Bad) becomes a nanny for a Hasidic family. Through her bond with her five-year old charge, she comes to appreciate her own heritage.
