This beautiful and provocative documentary is a feast for the eyes with its portrayal of both the history of the ancient wine presses and the beauty of the vineyard-studded landscapes that populate Israel as a serious wine region. The second half of the movie delves into the serious dilemmas that the modern country faces, including whether kosher wine production hurts Israel’s standing in the important non-Kosher markets.
