With a knockout performance by Mouna Hawa (In Between), this 8-episode dramatic series (Muna I and Muna II) focuses on the life of Muna, a 30-something Israeli Arab photographer, who has been invited to display her work in Paris. Although this exhibition is a great honor, she is hounded by both Arab and Jewish critics. Then there’s the complicated relationship she has with Yaniv, her Jewish boyfriend, and her father’s anger at her for not adopting a traditional lifestyle. A bold look at Israeli Arabs that you’ve rarely seen before. (Muna II is Episodes 5-8).

Join us on April 16 at 11:00 AM, when Israeli filmmaker/actress/singer Mira Awad shares the back story behind her mini-series Muna. This Live Chat is included with your ticket for Muna II. It will be automatically loaded to your account. If you miss the Live Chat, you will be able to view the recording until Saturday, April 24 at 12:00 AM.
