It’s estimated that an astounding 300 million people will become climate refugees by the year 2050, forced to emigrate to escape climate-related destruction. This artfully composed, frank and unflinching documentary shines a light on this eradication, by sharing the stories of three women across three continents as they fight to keep their home, land and community safe.

By focusing on Loubin in Keyna, forced to forage for water in a landscape ravaged by drought, Nazma in India, locked in a constant war with rising sea levels and its destruction of her soil and crops, and Vanesa in the Caribbean, as her home and life is threatened by unwavering violent winds, Climate Exodus offers a personal, urgent insight into a global emergency.

Offering a striking articulation of how climate change can devastate, the imposing span of its reach, and a sobering call to action, this is a film that will stay you long after the credits have rolled.
