Thanks to the generosity of part-time islanders and enthusiastic film festival supporters Suzy Mygatt Wakefield and Jay Wakefield, all films entered in the Student Film Competition are available FREE for everyone to screen. The Wakefield’s want to introduce students to the art of filmmaking by viewing their peers’ work, while also encouraging family viewing of thoughtful documentary programming, and inspiring interest in the films FHFF offers. 

A young girl experiences a rift in her normal routine causing her to find a cryptic note, pushing her curiosity and propelling her into a series of peculiar events.


Director Statement

As many of us are contained in perpetual routine, we wanted to show what could happen when routine is broken and how it can change ones character, perhaps for the better.


Director Biography


James Brammer is a student at Ballard High School's Digital Filmmaking Program, and enjoys writing and filming a variety of different genres.
