The Kaqchikel language and the issues effecting its continued vitality in a globalized world, the role a long history of governmental marginalization of indigenous people and their language's, those working to secure the future use of Kaqchikel, as well as the perspectives of those from across the country who live, or don't, with the language are shared in this film with a goal to shed light on a global phenomenon
