The Curious Case of the Missing Shandon Bell is a unique three-episode crime mystery series created completely unscripted by the amazingly talented young people involved in The Kabin Studio and with cameo appearances by the two main stars of The Young Offenders, Alex Murphy and Chris Walley.

First Cut! is thrilled to be screening all three episodes of this wonderfully quirky and entertaining project. Participating young people Darren (MC Tiny), Ellen, Coben and Jamie will join Kabin Studio coordinator Garry McCarthy to discuss the making of the series with Stevie G and find out about Kabin’s wide range of creative projects that get everybody involved – from workshops in rap to growing food!

The Kabin Studio is a community youth music space in Knocknaheeny supported by Music Generation Cork City, Cork City Council & GMCBeats.

Kickstarted with a series of brilliant improvisation workshops over zoom with filmmakers Ayla Amano & Brendan Canty and involving Niamh, Darren, Ellen, Jamie, Killian, Cara, Sophie, Coben & Christine, all three episodes have hilarious moments, all created off the cuff. This series captures the wit and creativity of these young actors and will keep you on the edge of your seat!
