Speakers include Martha Carlin of The BioCollective, Assistant Professor Cristin Kearns of UC-San Francisco, Dr. Kristine Madsen of UC-Berkeley,and Tessa Hale and Christina Edstrom of Boulder County Public Health. Alan Lewis of Natural Grocers will moderate. This program is part of our What You Eat Matters series on health and nutrition.

Sugar Coated shows how sugar escaped scrutiny as a leading cause of obesity, diabetes and heart disease due to a secret and deceptive public relations campaign by the sugar industry. It introduces a cast of alarmed experts, who collectively try to reverse this trend that threatens the health of the nation.
