This is the untold story of one of America's most notorious outcasts who in 1983 challenged Ronald Reagan for the presidency. In a campaign to expose political corruption and hypocrisy, Larry Flynt criss-crossed the country in his gold-plated wheelchair taking his platform from the highest courts to the lowest prisons. Was he for real? Or was he bluffing? Was it parody? Or was it prophecy? "Larry Flynt for President" sets out to discover the limits of parody and the nature of satire in a country that celebrates freedom of speech yet punishes those who dissent too loudly.
