A docu-animated short film depicting the memories of LGBTQ-identifying individuals relating to love, sex, and identity. “REMINISCE” is directed by New York City-based digital artist Kevely Ferreira, and this animated experimental short flexes their gorgeously abstract CGI-filmmaking chops. “REMINISCE” is filled with 3D imagery that tends to simultaneously satirize and correlate with the 21st-century technology and references incorporated by the subjects’ recounts of queer intimacy.
