Set to the soul beat of Assata Shakur, a trio of black transwoman, brown genderqueer person and a white queer cis man resist dystopia with a sweet bowl full of joy, intimacy and love. This warming and harmonious short is directed by non-binary, award-winning independent filmmaker Neelu Bhuman, and maintains Neelu’s cinematic explorations into how romance flourishes within identity categories such as race, gender, sexuality, culture, and class.
