On Halloween night, a couple ventures into the woods rumored to be haunted to conjure up an urban legend. But the two are about to meet a ghost from the past. Directed by Los Angeles from Minnesota filmmaker Richard Louprasong, “The Cruise” is a neon-horror beauty that majestically blends 80’s slasher campiness and suspenseful pacing with invigorating lighting and camerawork. Louprasong’s previous work was the festival awarding-winning romantic comedy short “The Man Crush”, and the filmmaker is quickly establishing himself as a tour-de-force in indie-LGBTQ cinema.
