Tells the story of François Touraine, a gifted French pianist forced to perform for the Nazis to save his Jewish lover and teacher, Rachel. Haunted by this experience, François returns to France a changed man—until he meets Annette, who helps him rediscover music and step back onto the stage.

Starring Oscar Lesage (The Substance), Pia Lagrange, Zoe Adjani, Philippe Torreton, Marie Torreton, Laurence Côte, and Alain Manoukian, the film features a stirring score by Dimitri Naïditch (Un plus une, Chacun sa vie). A poignant reflection on sacrifice, love, and morality during wartime, the film explores the enduring cost of choices made under extraordinary circumstances.  Contains Holocaust material.  Mature content.
