Drowned in the chaos of a family reunion filled with testosterone and pig roast, Reynald will try to prove to his nephew, his family but mostly himself that he's still king.

Director Statement

ROOSTER’S CROW is the desire to dive in with the men around us, men who have lost their way and are no longer trying to find themselves. It’s my need to walk a path with them to see where we can go. It’s also my desire to do it without the dramatic tone that all this implies, because after all, at a family party, chaos and jokes always bury the repressed pain better. This film is an exploration of small talk and the violence of subtext. It is with this light-hearted tone and wry humor that the drama builds and unravels: until the next party.
