Kamikaze Time Travel is a sequel to the award-winning musical Nagareru Kumo yo, based on Fumiko Kusakabe’s best-selling kamikaze play performed nationwide for over 25 years. The story follows Kotaro Sakamoto, a young kamikaze pilot who, on the brink of Japan’s defeat in WWII, miraculously travels through time and lands in modern-day Okinawa. There, he meets Masaya Nakahara, a contemporary youth who helps him rediscover the meaning of peace, pride, and humanity in a world without war.
