A heartfelt journey unfolds as a theater group of Holocaust survivors embarks on a tour with a production they have written to process their trauma in MJFF alum Tammy Federman’s new documentary (MJFF 2019 Cellfish and MJFF 2022 Black Flowers). Blending the weight of their personal stories with humor and music, they warmly connect with the youth they meet along the way. Engaging in movement, choir, drama, and social activities, the deep bonds formed within the group allow them to support one another and finally share the secrets they’ve held for so long. Through this inspiring experience, they discover that, after all these years, they are still capable of growth, change, and healing—a beautiful testament to the enduring love of life.
