After the death of Tevfik Esenç—the last person to speak the Ubykh language—in 1992, the Ubykh language disappeared from the world. His granddaughter Burcu Esenç went on a journey following her grandfather's footsteps. The documentary film directed by Burcu Esenç and Cantekin Cantez tells the story of the people of Ubykh and the disappearance of a language from the world. 


Luego de la muerte de Tevfik Esenç - la última persona que hablaba la lengua Ubykh – en 1992, la lengua Ubykh desapareció del mundo. Su nieta ,Burcu Esenç, inició un viaje siguiendo los pasos de su abuelo. El documental, dirigido por Burcu Esenç y Cantekin Cantez, cuenta la historia del pueblo de Ubykh y la desaparición de una lengua en el mundo.
