Marona's Fantastic Tale (L'Extraordinaire voyage de Marona) is an animation feature directed by Romanian filmaker Anca Damian.

It tells the story of Marona, a small lovable dog who passes from one master to another, taking us on a thrilling and miraculous road trip through life.

The film has been praised for its unique visual style and for exploring themes of belonging and love in a thoughtful manner. It has won various international awards.


Synopsis

Victim of an accident, a small female dog remembers her different masters she has unconditionally loved. With her unfailing empathy, Marona has brought lightness and innocence in each of the homes she has lived in.
