Glamputee and LOTUS BOY co-host their vibrant and joyful spin on the late night and variety show genre, sharing a candid, unscripted conversation about the expansive nature of disability and the performances we do around it. Throughout the discussion they will weave in commissioned pieces from QTBIPOC disabled performers from across the country to deepen the exploration and introduce a diversity of voices into the space.

About Glamputee

Alex is a queer, Black biracial Glamputee, proudly offering you a...leg up on disability justice. Whether as a counselor, harm reductionist, pleasure activist, runway model, or film festival juror, Alex is serving up the 3 C’s (Curls, Crutches, & Claws), while singing the praises of the disability justice movement any chance he can get. Alex has set out to use his platform to center the voices of Black and brown, queer, disabled folks while weaving together the principles of this movement with other justice efforts to promote access, sustainability and wholeness in all of our collective liberation work. www.glamputee.com


About LOTUS BOY

LOTUS BOY (Ze/Zir, He/Him, They/Them) is a shapeshifting, transgender and nonbinary, unapologetically disabled, Chinese-American drag king and multidisciplinary artist who performs in occupied Tamien Ohlone, Huichin Ohlone, and Ramaytush Ohlone Land (Bay Area, CA). Ze explores gender fluidity, accessibility, healing from trauma, and rage, through the mediums of poetry, lipsync, ancestral movement (qi gong and tai chi), monologue, and original music. King LOTUS BOY's work uplifts issues regarding ableism, anti-Asian racism, transphobia, and sustainability, often incorporating humor as a vessel of universal connection. With every performance, they aim to help the audience learn—or unlearn—something. 


About Dahlia Kash

Known as The Mocha Mae West for her quick wit & sultry moves, Dahlia Kash is no wallflower! She's the producer of Portland's Melange: A Queer & POC Variety Show & Crown Me, as well as Mischief: A Melanated Variety Show in Olympia, WA, and Black.Femme.Fierce. Shakin' it everywhere since 2013, this Queer Fat Femme is gonna rock your world!!


About Edgar Fabián Frías

Edgar Fabián Frías works in installation, photography, video art, sound, sculpture, printed textiles, GIFs, performance, social practice, and community organizing, among other forms. Their art addresses historical legacies and acts of resistance, resiliency, and radical imagination within the context of Indigenous Futurism, spirituality, play, pedagogy, animism, and queer aesthetics. Weaving together the traditional and ancestral with the contemporaneous and emergent. Born in East Los Angeles in 1983, Frías received dual BA degrees in Psychology and Studio Art from the UC, Riverside. In 2013, they received an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, with an emphasis on Interpersonal Neurobiology and Somatic Psychotherapy. Frías received their MFA in Art Practice from UC Berkeley in 2022.

Gabe Darling (they/he), also known as Baby Flamingo, is a multimedia artist based in occupied Susquehannock land (also known as Central PA). They are a lifestyle and music photographer, zine creator, jewelry artist, and drag performer. They hope to inspire others to embrace their softness and share their own stories.
