From 1831-1996 Canada’s 139 residential schools, ran in partnership between the Canadian Government, Catholic, Anglican and other protestant churches, were the country’s sanctioned system f dehumanization. Neglect, brutality and child abuse in all it’s forms were used to achieve the desired out come of, “not a single Indian in Canada”.
