In this video diary, Adrian Velazquez explores his extended family archive of photos and VHS home movies, revealing the devoted happy group they were during his childhood. As we watch Adrian and his grandmother viewing a video of their 50th Anniversary Celebration in 1997, various family quarrels are slowly exposed, which eventually shattered their previous family unity.  Lazos de Familia is ultimately a love letter to Valezquez’s grandmother and extended family.
